Plug and protect
Designed for integration with compatible certified fire alarm control panels.
Pressure-free, modular protection designed for critical environments where uptime, clean discharge and flexibility matter.
Data centres, communications facilities, control rooms and other technical spaces combine dense electronics with an uninterrupted need for power. N2 Gen is designed for these demanding environments.
N2 Gen extends DSPA’s international fire-protection portfolio with a nitrogen-based solution for modern, sensitive environments. DSPA Kenya brings that global technology closer to projects in Kenya through local product guidance and project support.
The nitrogen-forming compound is held in a sealed stainless-steel generator without a pressurised cylinder bank.
A compatible certified detection and control system triggers a controlled process when protection is required.
The generator produces inert nitrogen gas (IG-100) to reduce the oxygen concentration below the combustion threshold.
The nitrogen is filtered, cooled and discharged without residue or visibility loss in the protected space.
Purpose-designed nozzles distribute the agent through the protected volume; an activated generator is then replaced.
Designed for integration with compatible certified fire alarm control panels.
Modular generators can support wall, ceiling and rack-related installation strategies.
Pure nitrogen leaves no suppressant residue on sensitive electronics or enclosed assets.
No high-pressure cylinder banks, dedicated pressure zones or extensive agent pipework.
No cylinder pressure checks or suppressant refilling during normal service life.
Nitrogen has zero ozone-depletion potential and zero global-warming potential.
N2 Gen’s modular approach supports both new projects and retrofit discussions. Different generator capacities can be specified around the protected volume and risk, helping minimise the space normally required by traditional cylinder systems.
Nitrogen already makes up most of the air around us. N2 Gen uses IG-100 without PFAS-based suppressant chemistry, helping organisations align fire protection decisions with environmental and operational priorities.
Tell DSPA Kenya about the space, equipment and operational risk you need to protect. Our team can help begin the product-selection and system-design discussion.
Final suitability, quantities and system configuration must be confirmed through a project-specific fire-risk assessment and technical design.
